Hardman’s basketball shoe concept

This footwear concept has just turned 18 years of age!

Concept presentation, featuring a photoshop render and the key words that inspired the design

The shoe presents an inovative carbon fibre and foam chassis integrating a hidden lacing system and bottom cushioning; premium leather or suede aero protective cover, transparent TPU heel clip and tyres like outsole...a MotoGP race bike for your feet, to sprint and break ankles on every NBA court and at your local gym!

This design was created to take part to an online design contest on legendary kicksguide.com website; it was inspired by my friend, and Kicksguide rival, Tony Hardman, and his relentless will to become a footwear designer. That same will that brought him at Skechers (at first) and later at Nike, where he designed, among others, first few Paul George’s signature shoes. He is still at Jordan Brand. serving as an Expert Designer.

Thanks to AI, we are able to see how the Hardman’s concept shoe could look like now, in "real" life scenarios.
