REEBOK IVERSONICS, lo-fi basketball shoe design process: part zero - intro

Taking a trip from watching an Amazon Prime documentary to the creation, just for my own fun, of a basketball shoe dedicated to one of the most exciting players in NBA’s history

The idea of this shoe concept started after watching Amazon Prime “Allen Iv3rson” documentary.

Iverson has easily been one of the most exciting players in NBA’s history, with his athleticism, style and relentless passion to fight against bigger players and stronger teams.

His incredible path into the league was made “walking” into his own shoe line under Reebok brand. Some of those models are still considered as iconic as some of Air Jordan shoe models.

Here starts the journey of the creation of a modern new basketball shoe, inspired by Iverson’s style on and off the court, taking advantage of modern technologies and materials and dedicated to the future generations of basketball players.

I will try to share every bit of the design process, which will be a lo-fi project, since I will made it just for fun and for the love of the game.
